Job Title: Oilfield Floorhand Staff

AJ's Services, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Oilfield Floorhand Staff to join our team. As a key member of our well servicing team, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of physical activities on the well servicing or elsewhere on the well site as directed by the customer or well operator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial completions, and remedial or downhole maintenance operations.
  • Assist in servicing of gas and oil wells; transport rig and other vehicles to the locations, rig up/down, pull/run tubing, rods, or casing.
  • Assist in removing or installing wellhead and associated equipment.
  • Lift, attach, install, and work with matting boards and associated well equipment such as rod strippers, polish rods, and pumps.
  • Operate rod wrenches, tongs, elevators, and other associated rig tools and equipment during well.
  • Assist with spooling or unspooling guy lines, placing and operating hydraulic jacks, and placing of emergency and safety gear.
  • Maintain tubing, rod tongs, and hand tools on the rig.
  • Unscrew or tighten pipe, casing, tubing, and pump rods, using hand and power wrenches and tongs.
  • Dismantle and repair oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools.
  • Clean up spills.
  • Keep pipe deck and main deck areas orderly.
  • Report safety hazards, accidents, or maintenance issues to rig operator or supervisor.
  • Drive company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrains, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off-road situations including two-track roads as needed.
  • May work in shop or yard as required.
  • May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid DL.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical functions.
  • Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as a background check.
Preferred:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Oilfield Experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • CDL Class A or B.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in all weather conditions.
  • Able to perform duties with protective equipment.
  • Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery.
