Job Title: Structural Designer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for participating in all aspects of structural project design, detail engineering, and providing technical support during construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design industrial facilities with knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC, and ACI)
  • Collaborate with key staff and communicate effectively with clients
  • Design building industrial platforms, including mechanical equipment support, electrical conduits, and race cable
  • Work on brownfield projects, designing new platforms in existing facilities
  • Experience in petrochemical, pipeline, and/or mining industries is a plus
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit or other 3D software
  • Experience in structural design software, including RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC, and ACI)
