We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at RRM Design Group. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing project design and detailing, including plans, calculations, specifications, and estimates, with moderate direction from senior staff.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Producing accurate CAD work that meets RRM appearance and CAD standards.
- Performing structural analysis for both lateral and gravity systems for buildings comprised of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry.
- Knowing the scope and budget available for the tasks assigned and producing work within those constraints.
- Visiting project sites for initial site visit and to confirm design issues, monitor construction, etc.
- Producing a comprehensive set of building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction.
- Creating, editing, and modifying structural plans, drawings, and details; help with producing a complete set of construction documents utilizing AutoCAD (and potentially REVIT).
- Minimum three years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration.
- Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
