Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at RRM Design Group. As a key member of our Structural Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing project design and detailing, including plans, calculations, specifications, and estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Produce accurate CAD work that meets RRM appearance and CAD standards.
- Perform structural analysis for both lateral and gravity systems for buildings comprised of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry.
- Know the scope and budget available for the tasks assigned and produce work within those constraints.
- Visit project sites (rarely) for initial site visit and to confirm design issues, monitor construction, etc.
- Produce a comprehensive set of building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction.
- Create, edit, and modify structural plans, drawings, and details; help with producing a complete set of construction documents utilizing AutoCAD (and potentially REVIT).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration.
- Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

SalaryBase salary: $45.25 per hour, based on skill and experience.
