Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor

Job Overview:
  • The LPN Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing administrative functions within the facility in the absence of senior management. This position is responsible for supervising patient care across the unit, coordinating with support services, and acting as the lead nurse. The LPN Supervisor is accountable for ensuring quality care and efficient use of resources during their shift, while also engaging in direct patient care as necessary.
Work Environment:
  • The role is performed in a well-lit, ventilated, and climate-controlled environment. The schedule may require availability on weekends, holidays, and various shifts. The position may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, sights, and sounds, as well as potential risks related to disease, infection, and physical exertion. The ability to independently lift or reposition up to 50 lbs is essential.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of an accredited LPN training program.
  • Experience: Proven experience and proficiency in a clinical setting.
  • Skills: Proficient in basic computer operations.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid LPN License in the State of Kentucky. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within three months of hire.
