Job Summary

Polamer Precision, Inc. is seeking a skilled Deburring Technician to join our team in the aerospace manufacturing industry. As a Deburring Technician, you will be responsible for deburring aerospace parts to operation sheet requirements, logging jobs in/out of the ERP system, and maintaining 6S requirements in the deburring area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deburring aerospace parts to operation sheet requirements
  • Log jobs in/out of the ERP system, material handling, moving parts to and from their appropriate locations
  • Maintain 6S requirements, upkeep of the deburring area
  • Communicate when scheduled work is not in their area
  • Performs other non-machining tasks; cleaning, kitting, assembly, material movement

Requirements:

  • Understanding of general computer skills
  • Ability to communicate well with all departments
  • Basic knowledge of Machine shop/production environment
  • Ideal candidate possesses 3+ years' experience in the Aerospace manufacturing environment working as an assembler
  • Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties for this job, alternating between standing and sitting. Also perform walking, gross manipulation, fine motor manipulation, visual acuity, using foot controls, lifting/carrying, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive movements daily.
  • Required to always wear safety shoes and safety glasses when on the shop floor.
  • Possible risk of injury from equipment or sharp parts and may be required to use protective equipment such as gowns and safety goggles.
  • Required to use cranes.
  • Assignment may require working on loud and potentially dangerous machinery/materials.
  • Required to use computer or touch screen to enter work order data.
  • Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
  • No travel required.
