Heavy Assembler Technician

New Ulm, Minnesota, United States Aerotek Full time
Job Title:
Heavy Assembler

Job Description:

The primary distinction between this role and the standard assembly position lies in the size of the product. This position requires a higher level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift heavier objects.

Key responsibilities include assembling and testing servo motors, utilizing hand and power tools, adhering to manufacturing test procedures, and implementing continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.

The ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings, operate machine tools, and utilize production tooling and fixtures is essential.

Inspecting and gauging finished parts, making tooling adjustments, and handling and moving supplies and materials are also critical tasks.

Responsibilities also include verifying that outside labels and unit labels are consistent for all packet parts and maintaining a clean work environment by performing daily and weekly safety checks of equipment.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a factory setting, with an assembly line environment and exposure to the smell of production equipment running.
