Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical setting.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing patients for exams, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures by taking vital signs, updating medical records, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
  • Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, including preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • Dermatology experience required.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
