Job SummaryAs a Caregiver for Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities, you will provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care for our clients during their primary caregiver's absence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and daily living assistance, such as dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene needs
- Engaging clients in age and ability-appropriate activities to enhance their quality of life
- Keeping clients safe in their homes while parents/guardians are out of the home
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Submitting reports on any incidents
- Acting quickly and responsibly in the event of an emergency
Our Caregivers play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing non-medical, in-home care for clients with developmental disabilities
- Assisting clients with personal care and daily living needs
- Engaging clients in activities that promote their physical, recreational, nutritional, developmental, and social well-being
- Keeping clients safe and secure in their homes
- Preparing meals and snacks that meet our clients' dietary needs
- Submitting reports on any incidents or concerns
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide non-medical, in-home care for clients with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
