Job Overview

Momentum WORK, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in providing support to adults with developmental disabilities in a day program setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-the-job training to program participants in groups and/or individually
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and skill development in various activities
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and goals
  • Contribute to positive relationships between community members, program participants, and Agency staff
  • Assist with community integration and transportation
  • Monitor and track participant goal achievement
  • Organize social and vocational groups to promote independence
  • Comply with Agency policies, CARF accreditation standards, and other relevant regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment
  • Valid CA Driver's License and CPR/First Aid certification
