Role Responsibilities

As a Senior SEO Analyst, you will oversee and enhance search engine marketing initiatives across platforms like Google and Bing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating optimization strategies to elevate LegalZoom's search engine rankings.
  • Conducting tests, gathering and analyzing data, and identifying trends to enhance search visibility.
  • Collaborating closely with the SEO, editorial, SEM, Product, and PMM teams to align priorities and drive growth.
  • Working with editorial and marketing teams to integrate SEO into content creation and marketing efforts.
  • Researching and applying search engine optimization recommendations across various content formats.
  • Developing and executing an internal linking strategy.
  • Establishing measurable goals to track improvements in marketing initiatives.
  • Partnering with the web development team to ensure adherence to SEO best practices throughout website content.
  • Conducting ongoing keyword research and optimization for new SEO keywords.
  • Delivering keyword research, briefs, and copy enhancements while maintaining a content master pipeline.
  • Training writers on SEO best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 4-5 years of experience in search engine optimization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting data and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Google's services, including Analytics, Ads, and Search Console.
  • A solid understanding of EEAT and the implications of helpful content updates.
  • A functional knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, metadata, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Insight into the differences between broad and long-tail SEO strategies.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mobile strategy and its relevance to SEO.
  • A track record of generating inbound organic search traffic and enhancing SERP performance.
  • Experience in creating reports that highlight key SEO metrics and search performance.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging trends in the SEO landscape.
