Mid-Atlantic Sales Director

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our thriving manufacturing organization. This is a permanent, full-time position that will play a pivotal role in expanding our business footprint, driving sales growth, and fostering long-term client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales growth and profitability across the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Conduct sales forecasting and market analysis to identify sales opportunities and potential risks.
- Manage sales operations to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with food service providers and broad-line distributors to expand our market presence.
- Leverage broker sales strategies to reach out to potential clients and generate new business leads.
- Develop and manage territory plans to maximize sales coverage and customer reach.
- Manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales strategy development and execution.
- Experience in sales forecasting, sales operations, and territory development.
- Strong experience in food service sales, broad-line distributor relationships, and broker sales.
- Demonstrated ability in account management, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
- Self-starter with a strong drive for results and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
