Primary Care Rounding Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Medical Director in skilled nursing facilities in the Seattle area. As a Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of clinicians, provide patient care, and oversee medical operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and leadership, with experience working in post-acute care settings. You will be responsible for patient care rounding, medical director duties, and providing oversight and guidance to our clinicians. In this role, you will have the flexibility to choose your preferred rounding schedule, with 3.5 days of rounding per week.
Responsibilities:
- Primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement a plan of care
- Collaborate with clinicians, facility leaders, and others regarding care and services
- Build relationships with patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Medical director duties for assigned facilities
- Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our clinicians
- Conduct clinical case reviews, as needed, and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six months of primary care experience
- Post-acute care experience is a plus, but not required
- Leadership background is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
- Active and unrestricted Washington license
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA
Compensation: This full-time role offers an estimated annual salary range of $220,000 to $250,000, with uncapped earning potential.
