Job Summary

The Department of FISCal is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Manager II to serve as the Chief Information Security Officer. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Manage the Enterprise Security Services Office (ESSO) and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including management, peers, and customers, to facilitate communication and improve the work environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the successful execution of information security initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in information security and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Working Conditions

This is a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days.
