Site Operations Supervisor
OVERVIEW
The Christian Camp and Conference Association is in search of a dedicated, faith-driven individual who is enthusiastic about the mission of Christian camping.
This role is vital to our organization and plays a significant part in our commitment to guiding youth in their spiritual journeys.
The Site Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal of the camp facilities, ensuring that all guests enjoy a secure and inviting atmosphere conducive to ministry.
This position entails stewardship of the property, guaranteeing that the camp remains a supportive environment for future generations of campers.

Executive Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates a genuine love for God and maintains a consistent spiritual walk.
Shows commitment to the organization's doctrinal beliefs, mission, and core values.
Possesses prior experience in Christian camping and feels a calling to serve in camp ministry.
Exhibits a passion for campers and a strong desire to facilitate their growth in faith.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, eager to learn, personable, possesses strong administrative capabilities, practical common sense, adaptability, and a willingness to develop professionally.
Must have skills in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, carpentry, painting, grounds upkeep, vehicle servicing, heating, refrigeration, and mechanical repairs.
Must have a strong aptitude for performing repair and enhancement tasks in these areas.Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques is essential.
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and volunteers.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with a commitment to excellence.
A true servant leader; someone who anticipates needs and takes initiative without being prompted, willing to prioritize the collective good of the camp and its attendees.
Must be flexible with work hours and willing to reside on or near camp property.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work effectively in various environments, including indoor, outdoor, and adverse weather conditions.
Work may require extended periods of mobility both indoors and outdoors.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a witness for Jesus Christ in all actions and communications, sharing His love with the public, campers, and staff to positively reflect on the organization.
Oversee and provide direction for maintenance and housekeeping operations.
Assess current site practices to ensure a safe environment compliant with relevant regulations.
Build strong working relationships across all areas of camp operations.
Meet regularly with the Executive Director (monthly) and Site Director (weekly) to prioritize tasks, offer recommendations, and address any concerns.
Keep all staff updated on operational procedures.Be directly responsible for the care, comfort, and scheduling of volunteers.
Operate within an established budget.
Assist with hosting groups as needed.
Be available to support other areas as requirements arise.
Participate in mandatory staff meetings.
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, execute, and document preventive maintenance for all facilities, equipment, and program areas.
Maintain the interior and exterior of all buildings.
Organize the maintenance shop for easy access to supplies and tools.
Ensure walkways, roads, and building entrances are clear of snow.
Oversee the landscaping of the campgrounds, including lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers.
Maintain outdoor furniture.
Manage waste disposal from the grounds (both indoors and outdoors) to designated areas.
Oversee the construction, installation, and upkeep of all exterior signage (e.g., trails, roads, buildings).
Ensure timely ordering and adequate stock of maintenance and housekeeping supplies.
Collaborate with the executive director to keep maps of utilities updated.
Be accountable for compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, laws, forms, and contracts related to maintenance and ministry responsibilities.
Ensure safety protocols are adhered to when operating equipment and vehicles.HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure facilities are prepared for guests upon arrival.
Develop and maintain current cleaning procedures for each camp building.
Schedule housekeeping to minimize disruption.
Implement and oversee preventive housekeeping maintenance (e.g., carpet cleaning, window washing, etc.).
Stay informed about the latest resources and equipment in the housekeeping field.
Train all housekeeping staff.
Manage all camp-owned furnishings.
