About the Role

As a Speech Therapist with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders.

You will also provide rehabilitative services to patients who are unable to travel to a clinic or hospital.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Providing therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
  • Have a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Have experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care (preferred but not limited to).
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication and organization skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
