Job Title: Server Assistant (Busser & Runner)

At American Golf, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant (Busser & Runner) to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining rooms and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our dining rooms.
  • Prepare dining rooms for guests by cleaning and setting tables, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety policies, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
  • Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Support servers by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers, liners, and service/bus stations, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Closes dining rooms by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables from the facility.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leaders, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
Qualifications:
  • Friendly, courteous, and well-spoken, with excellent communication skills.
  • Works well with a team, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive attitude.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • An appetite for growth and further knowledge in the food and beverage field, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests, upholding the highest standards of customer service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to meeting business needs.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezers), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), 90 degrees Fahrenheit, with the ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
Compensation:

$16-$17 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
