Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning

At DrinkPAK LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Financial Planning to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning initiatives, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, and managing reporting to internal and third-party stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the company's business plan and financial model, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in communicating financial strategy issues and recommended changes to senior management.
  • Monitor adherence to the objectives set out in the financial model and business plan, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Develop financial key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of both the business and the financial strategy.
  • Track performance against key targets and outcomes, producing regular corporate-level management information for senior management and the Board.
  • Ensure timely production of routine management information, containing reliable data agreed upon by key stakeholders.
  • Produce regular financial reporting to provide an overview of business and financial performance, highlighting trends, key actions, and strategic implications.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the finance department is well-informed and has a strong voice in the organization.
  • Project manage end-to-end delivery of financial forecasting processes, including communications, timetables, and data requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial models and projections through implementation of suitable controls, documentation, and testing.
  • Present information to external parties, including lenders, banks, and investors.
  • Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company, including modeling the financial impact of significant business change proposals/plans.
  • Work with the IT department to recommend suitable technology solutions to enhance our financial modeling and analysis capability.
  • Partner with the Accounting department on month-end close reconciliations, recognition understanding, and variance analysis.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the CFO or other executive leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of FP&A and/or corporate finance experience at asset-heavy companies, preferably in a high-growth setting.
  • Investment banking, private equity, or financial consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business required, MBA or master's in finance highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with board members, lenders, bankers, and executive management.
  • Methodical and process-oriented to build strong and repeatable business processes that can scale as the business grows.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, with experience using forecasting and planning and reporting functionality in SAP, PowerBI, Manhattan (or similar WMS), and Workday (or similar HRIS) preferred.
  • Motivated to dive deeply into financial and operational KPIs to analyze data, find trends, develop action plans at a rapid pace.
  • Thrives in an autonomous environment with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
