Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Advanced Technologies division. This role is integral to our mission of developing innovative nuclear reactor systems and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed engineering tasks, including the creation of drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Design mechanical components with a focus on assembly, testing, and inspection processes.
  • Apply design control and configuration management principles effectively.
  • Incorporate design for manufacturability and operational efficiency into projects.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ASME Code, Sections III and VIII is required.
  • Strong project engineering skills, including planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
