About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and communication to manage the project team, owner/client, architect, and consultants.
  • Implement general conditions and requirements of contracts, monitoring contract documents for conformance and execution.
  • Employ project management systems to manage and control project documentation and cost controls.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts and purchase orders, oversee execution, and manage subcontractor claims.
  • Verify owner/client billings, subcontractor billings, and account receivables.
  • Participate in operations and safety meetings to facilitate and enforce job site safety.
  • Organize project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and provide leadership to ensure all parties understand their obligations.
  • Manage project close-out procedures, including monitoring punch lists to completion and preparing warranties and operations manuals.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer.
  • Experience on ground-up projects.
  • Experience overseeing projects autonomously.
  • Experience working for a general contractor.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
