Job Summary

Corden Pharma Boulder Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Group Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Program Management Office, you will be responsible for leading a team of project coordinators, project managers, and senior project managers in the delivery of development and commercial API projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of project coordinators, project managers, and senior project managers in a competitive CDMO environment.
  • Audit project performance to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance to realign projects.
  • Escalate and resolve project resource constraints with other department managers while maintaining a collaborative relationship between departments.
  • Work with project managers and department leaders to identify root causes of project milestone slippage for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Act as project manager on one project, delivering in full, on time, and right first time.
  • Support and guide the professional development of team members, including establishing performance goals and individual development plans.
  • Support the harmonization of global PMO initiatives.
  • Provide backup to the PMO Director as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or other science-based degree preferred.
  • 10 years of managing project teams for the delivery of quality projects within scope, on time, and on budget.
  • 10 years of advanced scientific experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a combination of pharmaceutical industry and applicable regulated experience.
  • Understanding of project management deliverables and methods, including their development and maintenance from a pharmaceutical perspective.
