Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and coach production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and provide feedback to production staff on areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and managers to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to production staff to improve performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Identify and address any safety hazards or concerns in the production area.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with production staff to ensure they feel supported and empowered to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, training, operations management).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a training or operations role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
  • Experience with training software and systems.
  • Ability to speak Spanish (bilingual).
