Gorbel is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional technical sales support to our dealers and end-users. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized service, understanding customer needs, and translating them into cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with external and internal customers to understand their requirements and establish professional relationships.
- Provide written quotes and process orders for all Gorbel product lines, ensuring seamless interaction with our customer base.
- Escalate newly discovered solution data and knowledge to the knowledge repository editors, driving continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Gorbel's products, services, and processes to provide expert technical support.
- Travel on a limited basis to meet with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
Requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.
- Three to five years of customer service or technical sales experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of electrical components.
- Fluency with MS Office Suite products.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial or material handling background.
- Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and components, reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent technical education.
