Detailed Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for executing inside sales, coordination, and reporting tasks, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

Handles orders received via phone and in-person. Assists clients in selecting appropriate products.

Accurately prepares shipping details and order documentation. Manages Will Call or scheduled deliveries and verifies payment methods.

Coordination Responsibilities:

Collaborates with inventory management to monitor stock levels, update inventory boards, and prioritize deliveries.

Works with the Credit Manager for account and cash transactions. Engages with Outside Sales for quotes, samples, and site visit requests. Coordinates with delivery services.

Reporting Responsibilities:

Keeps records of service tickets.

Generates Sales and Daily Cash Reports. Maintains dispatch logs.

Additional Duties:

Provides customer quotes as necessary.

Handles various tasks including phone management, maintaining a tidy workspace, forwarding inquiries to appropriate personnel, and documenting customer feedback.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Exhibits excellent customer service through friendly and effective communication.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of performing numerical calculations.

Consistent attendance and reliability are essential.

Strong communication skills with customers and team members.

Ability to understand product specifications and maintain productivity.

Follows instructions in English as required for safety and job performance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.

Capable of typing and viewing computer screens for long durations.

Able to lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year in customer service (preferred).

Work Location:

On-site position.
