Job Overview
McDonald's aims to establish itself as a leader in Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement. To achieve this, we are launching the Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement Modernization (GI Mod) program. This initiative is designed to leverage our scale and create sustainable value for both the company and the communities we serve. We are enhancing our capabilities, processes, and methodologies to establish a unified approach to responsible procurement of indirect goods and services.
Position Summary
The PMO Lead for GI Mod will play a crucial role in this transformative journey. This position is essential for coordinating two key workstreams: GBS Spend Transformation and Global Operating Model Design & Deployment. These initiatives are focused on delivering immediate value in the procurement of indirect goods and services while also fostering long-term improvements in our global sourcing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Governance, Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and project management artifacts to ensure effective oversight and decision-making.
- Partner Management: Collaborate with change and communications teams to identify stakeholders and establish communication strategies.
- Risk & Resource Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle while managing personnel, budget, and resources effectively.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain essential PMO documents, ensuring transparency and accessibility for the program team.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess extensive program management experience, particularly in large-scale transformation initiatives. Familiarity with indirect sourcing and procurement is essential, along with strong communication and leadership skills. A strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing business needs are crucial for success in this role.
