Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) at Ripple Effect. As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and managing innovative research programs to deliver high-impact health solutions.

ARPA-H funds cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary research aimed at solving the most challenging health problems. We are looking for candidates with technical expertise spanning various disciplines, including microbiology, bioinformatics, computer science, and public health.

Responsibilities will include reviewing the state of the science, emerging industry trends, and current R&D landscape to identify critical market, research, and healthcare gaps. You will also assist in drafting solicitation materials, reviewing technical abstracts, and developing briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements include a PhD in a biomedical, health, science, or engineering-related field, with at least 7 years of related experience, including 4 years of research and development experience. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review state of the science and emerging industry trends
  • Assist in drafting solicitation materials
  • Review technical abstracts and develop briefings
  • Monitor and track project performance
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • PhD in a biomedical, health, science, or engineering-related field
  • 7 years of related experience, including 4 years of research and development experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
