Pilot Rotor Wing Aviation Specialist

**Job Summary**
As a Pilot Rotor Wing with Air Methods, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area. You will operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner, completing pre-flight checks and verifying the aircraft's airworthiness. Your thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Air Methods policies and procedures will be essential in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner
• Complete pre-flight checks and verify aircraft airworthiness
• Ensure compliance with FAR, AIM, and Air Methods policies and procedures
• Transport medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area
**Requirements**
• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two to five years related experience and/or training
• Commercial & Instrument Rating (for category and class of aircraft)
• First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required
