Aviation Career Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Detail Inspector to join our team at StandardAero. As a Detail Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance by verifying compliance to regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and document the modification status/configuration of products being processed for repair or overhaul.
- Ensure products are sufficiently clean and in acceptable condition for inspection.
- Determine the repairability of products not meeting requirements.
- Record inspection results on appropriate documentation.
- Generate estimates for replacement parts and labor.
- Prepare documentation for repair of unserviceable products.
- Identify parts in the Reduced to Spares (RTS) process.
- Supervise detail inspection trainees.
- Participate in continuous improvement of cell processes.
- Cross-train in complementary skills and endorse as needed.
- Knowledgeable in precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledgeable in identifying conditions on products resulting from service operation.
- Ability to use and interpret publications in the production process.
- Working knowledge of product functions and operation.
- Proficient in technical writing.
- Working knowledge of production management computer systems.
- Ability to complete the Detail Inspector Training & Development Plan.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average work day.
