Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineering Co-op to join our team at Bracco Medical Technologies. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of medical devices used for interventional cardiology and diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the definition of user needs, system and sub-system requirements, and system architecture.
  • Develop and perform testing to support architectural decisions and system characterization.
  • Remediate requirements to align with the selected architecture of fielded medical devices.
  • Use requirement and test management tools to create and communicate traceability between system artifacts.
  • Partner with team members to help diagnose product issues.
  • Perform trade-off analyses to aid technical decision-making.
  • Acquire, analyze, and report results for product testing and reliability data.
Training and Development

As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in medical device development. You will also participate in training programs to develop your skills in requirement and test management tools, as well as learn about the medical device industry.

Requirements
  • At least two years of study towards a bachelor's degree in engineering or other scientific discipline program.
  • Enrolled in a biomedical, electrical, mechanical, software, or systems engineering program.
  • Practical knowledge designing across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
  • Experience using requirement and test management tools (e.g., Jama).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Testing and data analysis experience.
