Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to determine the necessary corrective action.
  • Parts Replacement and Adjustment: Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Chemical Inspection and Calibration: Inspect, calibrate, and check all chemicals to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Equipment Testing and Verification: Run equipment through cycles to ensure the complete system is functioning properly.
  • Customer Service and Support: Advise customers of necessary service work and make recommendations to customers regarding replacement of worn or damaged parts, systems, etc.
  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect equipment to ensure proper function and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Training and Education: Provide information and training to customers regarding proper operation and general maintenance of equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory of parts on service vehicles and in warehouses, reporting levels as required.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Comply with all service policies and procedures, and keep the Service Manager informed of all significant problems, progress, or difficulties.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma, Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical/trade school, plus a minimum of one year of industry-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field technician or related technician, industrial mechanical, pneumatics, PLC experience, electrical experience including 3-phase.
  • Driving Record and Travel: Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations within the past 5 years, no more than two preventable, at-fault accidents within the past 5 years, ability to travel assigned geography on a daily basis, including overnights as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift items of light to heavy weight, up to 75 lbs, ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to successfully work independently or within a team, excellent communication and organizational skills, intermediate computer skills, and email communication.
