X-Ray Radiologic Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Gables Search Group. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures in assigned areas, ensuring safe and technical imaging practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures in assigned areas, adhering to safe and technical imaging practices.
  • Operate various radiographic equipment, including fixed and portable imaging equipment.
  • Process images on archival systems and submit high-quality images to PACS.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Identify patients for procedures and their respective images, following Infection Control policies and radiation policies.

Requirements:

  • ARRT licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent.
  • CRT licensure.
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA-approved school.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • New graduate with 2 or more years of x-ray experience, with previous experience working in hospital (OR, ER) and outpatient/clinic settings.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, flexible, and adaptable skills.
