Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Autism Support Technician to join our team at the Iredell-Statesville School District. As a key member of our exceptional children's program, you will provide critical support to students with autism, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of students with autism.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.
- Provide behavioral support and interventions to help students manage challenging behaviors.
- Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene, to promote independence.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and its impact on students. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with experience working with students with autism.
