- Insurance Processing: Verify and process insurance coverage for orthodontic treatments, communicate with insurance providers to obtain pre-authorizations and verify benefits, and assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
- Financial Management: Provide transparent and comprehensive explanations of treatment costs and payment options to patients, collect and process payments, and assist patients with financing options and payment plans.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining patient files, and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
- Previous experience in dental or orthodontic office administration, insurance coordination, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in dental or medical insurance terminology, billing codes, and claims processing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and insurance providers.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including dental software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
