Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering and technical staff to ensure project completion.
- Coordinate structural design efforts internally and with external consultants.
- Develop, track, and manage project timelines, work plans, and budgets.
- Act as the main liaison with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
- Create and enforce project-specific quality assurance and quality control plans.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, aiding in their professional growth.
- Participate in project meetings, representing Martin/Martin, Inc. during all phases of design and construction.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- A minimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience (with relevant advanced degrees and certifications counting towards this experience).
- Proven leadership skills that align with the company's future goals.
Preferred:
- Experience in designing and managing projects from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with Department of Energy and Department of Defense projects.
- Strong internal and external communication skills.
- Advanced project management capabilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.
