Job Description

At NxT Level, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to design and manage structural engineering projects across New Mexico and the U.S., including markets such as DOE/DOD labs and campuses, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, sports, office, and education sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering and technician staff to successfully complete projects.
  • Coordinate structural design scope both in-house and with other consultants.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff, supporting their career development.
  • Attend project meetings and represent NxT Level during design and construction phases.
  • Take an active role in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Minimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year; passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year).
