Job Summary

Financial Center First Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Branch Operations Manager to oversee the operational efforts of our retail centers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service to internal and external members.

The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the operational efforts of the branch, ensuring established policies and procedures are followed, and promoting a culture of excellence and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the Teller team, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to provide exceptional member service.
  • Monitor and analyze branch operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve individual and branch sales goals, including sales, referrals, and retention of existing membership.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement branch procedures and security protocols, ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the recruitment and hiring of Teller and Senior Teller positions, ensuring a strong and diverse team.

Requirements:

  • A college degree in business administration or sales is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven operational and/or service experience at a financial institution or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and management experience, including coaching, training, motivation, time management skills, and performance coaching.
  • Ability to achieve proficiency on Credit Union computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficient and demonstrable experience in business development, as well as coaching sales skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, self-motivated, and strong interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

The work requires physical mobility within the general work area, continual communication with members, repetitive tasks, and a high level of attention to security. The work is performed in a general office environment. Some travel may be required to the outlying centers and to businesses in the local community.
