Job Title: Clinical Lead

Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting direct patient care, compliance, education, and training throughout the Twin Cities area.

Meridian Behavioral Health, LLC, is a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery with a network of addiction treatment centers in Minnesota. We are seeking a Clinical Lead to ensure responsible design and implementation of competency-based orientation and direct patient care as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry a caseload as needed and provide clinical services as required.
  • Ensure all clinical services are provided in accordance with state and program requirements.
  • Support daily management of the clinical program and staff as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between clinical staff and Resource Center regarding training, education, and compliance.
  • Train and provide supervision to clinical staff.
  • Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratios are met.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.
  • Be available for consultation.
  • Support student learning and review and sign off on all interns' progress notes, reviews, treatment plans, transfers, and service termination documents.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Services-related field.
  • Current MN license in a mental health profession (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT).
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing direct service to individuals with co-occurring morbidity.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must know and understand all rules, regulations, and requirements of the assigned program.
  • Must be able to document 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health problems and chemical abuse of dependency that includes competencies related to philosophy, screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, programming, medication, collaboration, mental health consultation, discharge planning within 6 months of the date of hire.
  • On-going training on cultural awareness and demonstration of sensitivity to various cultural norms and values.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Ability:

  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple format.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities.
  • Computer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple format.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds. Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities.
  • Prefer LADC and Mental Health Licensure.
