We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in patient education and support, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Contribute to a safe and clean environment by maintaining patient rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Current Louisiana Certification as a Nurses' Assistant (CNA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- 1 year of hospital and telemetry experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
