Position Overview:

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our organization, providing essential support in a healthcare environment.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $21.18.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401K plan featuring company matching.

Leave: 15 days of paid time off and 11 paid holidays annually.

Required Qualifications:

  • CMA certification or equivalent diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a CMA within the last 36 months.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs for CMA/MA services, develop medical intervention plans, assess their effectiveness, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Administer oxygen and medications via subcutaneous and intramuscular routes.
  • Prepare patients for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment, including cardiac monitors and defibrillators.
  • Manage inventory of medications and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Provide immediate assessment and management of urgent medical issues alongside routine appointments.
  • Welcome patients to the clinic, discreetly determine their health concerns, and direct them to the appropriate care.
  • Respond to inquiries for routine non-medical information.
  • Handle and screen incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain and organize healthcare records.
  • Ensure proper filing of health care reports within patient records.
  • Manage the Health Record checkout process.
  • Input daily patient data into the healthcare information systems.
