- Customer Service and Ambassadorship: Model exceptional customer service skills and serve as an ambassador for the American Red Cross, promoting a positive image of the organization.
- Phlebotomy and Blood Drive Operations: Conduct phlebotomy procedures and oversee the setup and teardown of blood drive equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Operational Efficiency: Work independently to ensure the efficient execution of blood drives, maintaining attention to detail and adhering to daily operations protocols.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and driving results.
- Phlebotomy Experience: Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience in healthcare settings, such as needlesticks, phlebotomy, and other relevant medical responsibilities, may be considered.
- Customer Service and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and public relations skills, with the ability to interact effectively with donors, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular schedules and frequent changes.
- Education and Certifications: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Prior Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in healthcare settings, such as CNA, MA, EMT, or other related roles.
- Leadership Experience in Healthcare: Prior leadership experience in healthcare settings, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and driving results.
