Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to high-risk infants, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and technical procedures.
- Manage neonatal caseload with physician consultation and collaboration.
- Serve as a patient and family advocate, identifying healthcare needs and actions for neonatal cases.
- Coordinate pre and postoperative care activities for high-risk infants.
- Support neonatal units during crisis situations.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in neonatal care.
- Masters degree in nursing.
- Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License (Hawaii).
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
- Minimum one (1) year of Nurse Practitioner experience in an acute care setting.
- Valid Hawaii APRN Recognition with Prescriptive Authority for Hawaii State APRN prescriptive authority.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
