Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to high-risk infants, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and technical procedures.
  • Manage neonatal caseload with physician consultation and collaboration.
  • Serve as a patient and family advocate, identifying healthcare needs and actions for neonatal cases.
  • Coordinate pre and postoperative care activities for high-risk infants.
  • Support neonatal units during crisis situations.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in neonatal care.
  • Masters degree in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License (Hawaii).
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of Nurse Practitioner experience in an acute care setting.
  • Valid Hawaii APRN Recognition with Prescriptive Authority for Hawaii State APRN prescriptive authority.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
