Job Summary:

As a skilled Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care and services, while also leading and directing licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistive personnel. You will utilize your expertise to deliver care that meets the needs of patients and families, and ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines, as well as organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care and services to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality care.
  • Lead and direct LPNs and nursing assistive personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines, as well as organizational policies.
  • Administer medications and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
  • Teach and mentor LPNs and nursing assistive personnel, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (Hawaii).
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate by Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) (for Oncology Unit).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with electronic medical records.
  • One (1) year experience in area of specialty or completion of formal course in area of specialty.
