Job Summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will provide exceptional support to our practitioners and clients, ensuring seamless access to our systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to practitioners and clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members as needed
  • Configure and deploy new workstations, peripherals, and software, ensuring all systems meet Baker Tilly's technical standards
  • Conduct technology training for new users, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use our systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests, including resolution status and any follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring our systems and services meet the evolving needs of our practitioners and clients
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Computer Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of experience providing workstation support, with a strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of Firm management, practitioners, clients, and external business contacts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
