Job Title: Enterprise Applications Director

Join Vaco as an Enterprise Applications Director and take on a leadership role in shaping the company's technology strategy. As a key member of the Business Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration with business processes, and driving innovation to stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for enterprise applications, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions, leveraging expertise in ERP applications, compliance, and development.
  • Manage IT services provided by external partners, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage IT staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and manage the application technology budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Articulate strategic IT decisions with confidence, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Identify key programs and projects that support the IT and business strategy, engaging with executives, partners, and customers.
  • Direct the IT Applications Team, overseeing planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10 years of IT leadership experience, specializing in business processes and applications.
  • Proven success in leading key application changes within regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with extensive knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ERP application issues, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Experience in building and executing application plans, directing IT initiatives, and managing third-party partners.
Working Conditions:

The Enterprise Applications Director will work in an office environment, with no travel required outside of occasional training and offsite events. The workspace is in an indoor office building with no exposure to heavy machinery.
