Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in our collaborative office setting, working alongside a team of dedicated medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients upon arrival and manage their wait times effectively.
  • Assist patients with the intake process, including the collection of necessary documentation.
  • Handle co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles while issuing receipts.
  • Oversee the cashier box and ensure daily deposits align with company policies.
  • Process walk-in patients and visitors efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Maintain and manage medical records, ensuring timely filing and scanning.
  • Ensure all correspondence is processed and filed promptly.
  • Handle requests for medical record releases and maintain appropriate logs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher).
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience in a medical front office role, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, and record maintenance.
  • Familiarity with EMR software.
