Overview

The Cosmetic Sales Trainer is responsible for fostering enduring connections with retail personnel, Headkount clients, and internal colleagues. This role requires a deep understanding of product offerings during in-store engagements. The Cosmetic Sales Trainer will represent various brands across multiple retail locations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide education to retail Beauty Advisors on the brands supported, sharing product insights and personal tips.
  • Complete post-shift surveys to provide feedback.
  • Stay connected with the Headkount team via the Headkount app.
  • Adhere to brand merchandising standards.
  • Gain expertise in each assigned brand through available training resources.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the beauty industry or with a prominent beauty retailer.
  • Strong background in retail sales and education.
  • Experience in organizing beauty retail events.
  • Ability to sell across multiple categories.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for beauty retail, training, sales, and relationship building.
  • Professional demeanor in-store and a proven team player.
  • Technological proficiency: video calls, phone calls, text messaging, smartphone applications.
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 30 miles.
  • Possession of a mobile phone.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, to meet retail demands.
