Role Summary

This position offers expertise in supply network solutions, leveraging Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to maximize value delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulating, overseeing, and executing the category strategy, including managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and specialized procurement initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction, inventory optimization, and quality enhancement, while ensuring the viability of business proposals and conducting risk assessments.
  • Serving as the intermediary between the organization and suppliers, effectively communicating critical information while considering production requirements and supplier conditions.
  • Monitoring supplier performance regarding timeliness and production; fostering robust relationships with suppliers.
  • Providing support for the North America region.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Data Analysis - Intermediate Level - Guides stakeholders on the interplay between financial, performance, and operational data; foresees operational challenges related to data collection and its integration into decision-making processes.
  • Communication Skills - Intermediate Level - Evaluates the writing and presentations of others, offering constructive feedback and coaching; tailors documents and presentations to suit the intended audience.
  • Negotiation Skills - Intermediate Level - Ensures negotiators are aware of diverse yet complementary interests; adeptly navigates significant negotiations, both internally and externally.
  • Contract Management - Working Knowledge - Familiarity with policies, standards, and processes for managing and administering contracts; capable of employing appropriate practices for various contractual agreements.
  • Procurement Processes - Working Knowledge - Understanding of purchasing policies, regulations, and procedures; skilled in the procurement of materials, components, equipment, and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management - Intermediate Level - Knowledgeable in supplier relationship management concepts and strategies; capable of addressing critical issues to fulfill supplier needs and maintain collaborative relationships.
Experience Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in process improvement and/or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement functions.
