Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our PAX Good Behavior Game initiative at Tact Community Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, planning, and implementation of the program, as well as ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and funding standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director to ensure effective program oversight and service delivery.
  • Recruit, screen, hire, and train qualified staff to support program goals.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings with PAX staff to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with school staff, administrators, and program stakeholders to promote sustainability and growth.
  • Represent Tact Community Services Inc. at conferences, meetings, and trainings to advance program objectives.
  • Develop and submit quarterly and annual reports to funders, ensuring timely submission of required data and narrative.
  • Monitor program revenue and expenses, ensuring prudent spending and budget management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure PAX GBG evidenced-based kernels and PAX Game are consistently implemented.
  • Support all PAX Partner trainings, including New Teacher, Next Steps, PAX Heroes, and webinars.
  • Continually monitor program performance to ensure meeting of OASAS, DCFS, ESM, and SCSD goals, and problem-solve as necessary.
  • Provide support with grant writing to secure funding for program initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in educational, behavioral, or related human service field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Substantial staff management/supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of the public-school system, child development, and behavioral health.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Word-processing and database proficiency.
  • Familiarity with community resources.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week as job requirements dictate.
  • Evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • Maintains effective professional relationships with school staff, other service providers, and community members.
  • Recognizes and values diversity within the work environment.
  • Conducts oneself ethically, honestly, and with integrity.
  • Must submit to and pass background checks by the Office of Mental Health, the NYS Justice Center, and the NYS Department of Education.
  • Access to daily reliable transportation.
  • NYS valid driver's license (site/position dependent) with 100,000/300,000 auto insurance liability limits.
