As a Pediatric Nursing Specialist (LPN) at Penn State Health, you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care.

The Nyes Road Suite D – Children's Heart Group is looking for a dedicated and collaborative LPN to enhance its team.

This position allows you to engage in three (3) distinct pediatric specialties alongside a multi-disciplinary team: Pediatric Cardiology, General Pediatrics, and Pediatric Weight Management.

The selected LPN will undertake a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to: patient rooming, assessments, administering vaccinations/medications, conducting well-visit screenings, performing EKGs, assembling Holter monitors, and executing point of care testing.

This role provides opportunities for professional growth and involvement in quality and safety initiatives, with potential travel to outreach sites.

The ideal candidate will prioritize teamwork with a strong focus on patient care. Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential for success in this fast-paced environment, where the office typically sees 70-75 patients daily. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):


Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to the completion of orientation.
