Position Overview

The Pediatric Nursing Specialist (RN) is a rewarding full-time position, averaging over 36 hours weekly, within our lively Pediatric Day Health Centers.

The RN plays a crucial role in ensuring high standards in the planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of effective nursing services. This position involves overseeing the care provided by LPNs and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitors and records the patient's condition through ongoing observation and assessment.
  • Determines patient care priorities to ensure quality nursing services.
  • Executes physician's orders and communicates any alterations in patient condition.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of nursing care provided.

Qualifications for RN:
  • Valid PA Nursing License
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation)
  • Additional compensation may be available for proven expertise with home ventilators and tracheostomies.
